Magic 4 Learning – Liskeard School June 2011
Liskeard School became The Real Hogwarts when Advanced Skills Teacher John Golding invited Magic Circle Member Alan Jones to deliver Magic School during activities week.
Twenty-Eight pupils aged between 12 and 14 attended the weeks magic lessons and all performed in front of a live audience on the final day of their wizard training.
The Magic 4 Learning programme is not simply about conjuring and magic, it is about motivating learning; the development of key skills (such as thinking, listening, reading, speaking, team working) and improving personal confidence/self esteem.
